Citizenship and residence permit of Spain: how to get it?

Citizenship by birth
Children born in Spain can obtain citizenship under certain conditions if their parents reside in the country on the basis of a temporary or permanent residence permit.

Citizenship by settlement
After legal residence in Spain for 10 years, you can apply for citizenship. For Latin American citizens and refugees, the period is reduced to 2 years.

Social Settlement (Arraigo Social)
A program for those who have lived in Spain illegally for more than 3 years, but have social connections, work or family. Proof of integration into Spanish society is required.

Labor settlement (Arraigo Laboral)
Provides for obtaining a residence permit for persons who have lived in Spain illegally for more than 2 years and have documentary evidence of their employment.
