How to open a company in Poland?

  • Choosing the organizational and legal form of business of a legal entity. At this stage, it is necessary to determine in what form it is planned to conduct business activity: individual entrepreneur, joint venture, limited liability company, joint stock company, etc.
  • Choosing a company name. You need to choose a unique name for the company. To do this, you need to check the availability of the selected name in the relevant Polish registers.
  • Obtaining a PESEL tax number. Used to identify persons located in Poland. Information is taken from the relevant register.
  • Preparation of constituent documents. Authorized capital is not needed if you register as a private entrepreneur. For other forms of ownership, the minimum amount of company capital is PLN 5; there are no restrictions on the maximum amount.   • Registration with tax authorities.
